The City of Longmont’s Community Services Division

Conduct Assessment and Develop Recommendations for Homeless Services in Longmont

The City of Longmont’s  Community Services Division selected interSector Partners to conduct an assessment and develop recommendations for homeless services in Longmont, Colorado. The process included input of nearly 100 stakeholders, development of a snapshot of the community of people experiencing homelessness in Longmont, analysis of regional studies and reports, research into best and promising practices nationally and facilitated meetings with service providers to develop the draft and final recommendations. interSector wrote and presented the assessment to the committee and community.

Hopa Mountain - Strengthening the Circle

Keynote, Social Enterprise Development Workshop and Training

interSector Partners presented the Bozeman, Montana Strengthening the Circle keynote session and a hands-on breakout session focused on social enterprise development for nearly 100 Native American nonprofit leaders, funders and program consultants. Strengthening the Circle is a program of Hopa Mountain that focuses on developing sustainability for Native nonprofits.

Business Formation and Go To Market Consulting

CSU Ventures, the business technology transfer and commercialization office at Colorado State University, hired interSector Partners to work with a team of university entrepreneurs to consider future direction, legal structure and approaches to bring their program to market.

PATH Ventures

Business Feasibility Consulting

PATH Ventures, the Los Angeles-based division of PATH that builds homes for clients, hired interSector Partners in 2015 to conduct a feasibility study of a bicycle retail/repair and workforce training concept for its PATH Metro Villas development. interSector returned in 2016 to work with community cycling organizations to develop collaborative opportunities to serve residents of Metro Villas at its completion.

In 2005, Notah Begay III, the only full-blooded Native American on the PGA TOUR, established the Notah Begay III (NB3) Foundation. Notah established the Foundation to address the profound health and wellness issues impacting Native American youth and to empower those youth to realize their potential as tomorrow’s leaders. To this end, the mission of the Foundation is to reduce the incidences of obesity and type 2 diabetes and to promote the leadership development of Native American youth through evidence-based sports, health, and wellness programming.
