Conduct Assessment and Develop Recommendations for Homeless Services in Longmont
The City of Longmont’s Community Services Division selected interSector Partners to conduct an assessment and develop recommendations for homeless services in Longmont, Colorado. The process included input of nearly 100 stakeholders, development of a snapshot of the community of people experiencing homelessness in Longmont, analysis of regional studies and reports, research into best and promising practices nationally and facilitated meetings with service providers to develop the draft and final recommendations. interSector wrote and presented the assessment to the committee and community.
Hopa Mountain - Strengthening the Circle
Keynote, Social Enterprise Development Workshop and Training
interSector Partners presented the Bozeman, Montana Strengthening the Circle keynote session and a hands-on breakout session focused on social enterprise development for nearly 100 Native American nonprofit leaders, funders and program consultants. Strengthening the Circle is a program of Hopa Mountain that focuses on developing sustainability for Native nonprofits.

Business Formation and Go To Market Consulting
CSU Ventures, the business technology transfer and commercialization office at Colorado State University, hired interSector Partners to work with a team of university entrepreneurs to consider future direction, legal structure and approaches to bring their program to market.

PATH Ventures, the Los Angeles-based division of PATH that builds homes for clients, hired interSector Partners in 2015 to conduct a feasibility study of a bicycle retail/repair and workforce training concept for its PATH Metro Villas development. interSector returned in 2016 to work with community cycling organizations to develop collaborative opportunities to serve residents of Metro Villas at its completion.

Center for People with Disabilities (CPWD) has provided a variety of nonresidential services to people with disabilities in Boulder and the north Denver metro area for nearly 40 years. With a primary focus on independent living for people with disabilities, CPWD is exploring its future through an engaged strategic planning process. interSector returns for the fourth year to facilitate the annual priority setting and allocations process for DHRPC. The Planning Council establishes funding priorities and allocates Ryan White Part A funding for the six county Denver metro transitional grant area. interSector works with the Priorities Workgroup to design a comprehensive community and Planning Council process to support decision-making around the needs of people living with HIV/AIDS.

Annual Planning Meeting Facilitation
The National Alliance on Mental Illness Boulder County Chapter invited interSector to serve as the facilitator of its annual planning meeting. This meeting of board members, staff and the community is designed to engage NAMI-Boulder County’s stakeholders in developing annual priorities and action plans in support of its self-help, support and advocacy work for people living with mental illness and their families in Boulder and Broomfield counties.

This summer, interSector worked with Intercambio: Uniting Communities to conduct its strategic planning process. This in-depth process included stakeholder surveys, telephone interviews, client and volunteer focus groups, and a comprehensive trends analysis. interSector also facilitated the staff and board planning sessions that translated the stakeholder input and trends analysis into a strategic and achievable plan to support the organization’s next three years of building understanding, respect and friendship across cultures.
